OCMS Community Foundation
The Oklahoma County Medical Society Community Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization formed by the member physicians of the Oklahoma County Medical Society.
Since 1966, the Foundation has provided grants for a number of worthwhile community projects, including funding for the Hospital Hospitality House, CPR Clearing House, The Meadows, Daily Living Center, Visiting Nurse Association, The Education and Employment Ministry, Healing Hands Health Care Services, OKC Food Bank, Ronald McDonald House, HIV-AIDS Media Campaign, Children with Attention Deficit Disorders, the Open Arms Free Clinic, Infant Crisis Services, Inc., and Schools for Healthy Lifestyles.
The Foundation, with the assistance of the OCMS Alliance, sponsors the Operation Santa holiday project. Proceeds donated by physician members are used to purchase clothing, food and toys to selected needy families in Oklahoma County.
