If you are the spouse of a physician, resident physician or medical student, or you yourself area physician, resident or medical student, you are invited to joining the Alliance. All members are important and valued, whatever phase of life, whatever time, talent or resources you are able to contribute.

Alliance Structure
County Alliance - grassroots level, "hands-on" work is done for fundraising, health projects and legislative advocacy.
State Alliance - provide ideas for local Alliances, coordinate efforts between county Alliances, provide leadership trainings for members.
AMA Alliance - national support for both county and state Alliances, serves as national voice for issues that concern the family of medicine. Also provide resources, is a liaison between state and national legislative activities and training.

Types of Memberships
A Regular member pays the full dues of $90 which covers dues to national, state and county Medical Alliance. A Regular member shall be eligible to vote, hold office or be a committee chairperson.
An Emeritus member is not required to pay dues. The criteria for a Special member is the following:1) Death of a spouse 2) Retirement of a spouse 3) Chronic illness or disability.
A Sustaining member pays $27 for county dues only. Paying this amount allows the Sustaining member to participate in special interests groups and receive mailings.
